NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 Announced – Equipped With World’s Fastest 7 Gbps Memory
NVIDIA, today announces their latest GeForce GTX 770 graphics card
which aims refine the Kepler architecture and take it to the next
level. With the refined Kepler architecture, the GeForce GTX 770 would deliver faster and much more realistic visuals in gaming.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 – The Must Have Card For Gamers!
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 features a reference PCB design that looks similar to the one already used on the GeForce GTX Titan and the GeForce GTX 770 hence we would be looking at better overclocking performance. It uses the GK104-425 A2 core which is similar to the GK104-400 A2 variant featured on the GeForce GTX 680 and has 1536 cuda cores, 128 texture mapping units, 32 raster operators and 3.5 billion transistors. The GeForce GTX 770 comes with faster core clock of 1046 MHz core and 1085 MHz boost. The graphic card would be available in both 2 GB and 4 GB VRAM variants which would run along a 256-bit wide interface. The GeForce GTX 770 comes with the fastest clocked memory ever running at 7 Gbps native speed.With such high specifications and frequencies milked out of the GK104 core, it also makes the GeForce GTX 770 a bit more power hungry over its predecessor. The GeForce GTX 770 has a TDP of 230 W and is supplied power by a 8 Pin+6 Pin connector layout. Display connectors include the reference DVI-DL, HDMI and a display port. It offers 4-Way SLI support and is whisper quiet under load operation.
For cooling, NVIDIA sticked to the Titan NVTTM cooler for the third time. The cooler is already used on the GTX Titan and GTX 780. Now the GeForce GTX 770 falls under the list as the card to use this famous cooler. The GPU would also be available in reference GTX 680 PCBs and coolers along with non-reference PCB and custom cooled models which are listed at the end of this article. The GeForce GTX 770 cooler comes with a large heatsink block which is cooled off by a blower fan, a separate fin stack provides additional cooling. All the parts are assembled within one of the most neat looking cooler shroud ever made with a see through panel and an embedded logo of the card itself, in this case the GTX 770.
The GeForce GTX 770 would officially retail at $449 while 4 GB/ Custom Cooled/ Non-Reference PCB variants would be delivered at an extra price range.
