How to Root Verizon Galaxy S4 with VRUAME7
The newest update VRUAME7, dropped on July 9, for Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 patched up the previous root and bypass exploits. While many were disgruntled by the update, the XDA members DooMLoRD and PWM978, with the help of others, have shared a method to root your Galaxy S4 to VRUAME7.
This solution requires you to use a microSD card, a terminal emulator app on your smartphone, and a couple of files to root your Galaxy S4. This method also doesn’t wipe the smart phone, so all good so far!

Prerequisites to root Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4:
- Create a backup of all important data in your Galaxy device.
- Download and install USB drivers for Galaxy S4 in your computer.
- Enable USB debugging option by pressing Menu > Settings > Applications. Navigate and tap on Developer Options to ensure that USB Debugging is enabled.
- Ensure that your SGS4 carries more than 70% of charge.
