We are all waiting for more and more leaks of Samsung’s highly-rumored Galaxy S5 flagship smartphone. Seems like we have just found first ever carrier teasing the device with Samsung Galaxy S5 teaser image and launch details.

The first carrier to being teasing the Samsung Galaxy S5 is a German carrier O2. The operator has showed off Galaxy S5 teaser image submerged in water. While this should have been one strong indicator of Galaxy S5 being waterproof, seems like not.

According to past history, O2 is fond of using water imagery to market products. We can’t be sure if this image is just following the previous trend of imagery or actually telling us out loud that Samsung Galaxy S5 will indeed be a waterproof device.

Previously, we have shared with you rumors of Samsung launching a waterproof Galaxy S5 variant. While Samsung did have a launch of waterproof Samsung Galaxy S4 Active in US, the company might consider using waterproof feature in standard version. After Sony’s mad success of waterproof Xperia, Samsung can’t stay behind for too long anyway!

The German text in the image says that the device will be launched at the end of February. This resonates with speculations of Samsung Galaxy S5 launching at Unpacked Samsung 5 event.
