GTA V Next-Gen Graphical and Technical Improvements Revealed – Expect Nothing But Epicness
Keeping everything that happened on the day zero of the biggest
industry-only video game expo called Electronic Entertainment Expo
aside, there is one thing that surely amused every next-gen gamer across
the world. The top selling video game of last-gen consoles and the
biggest game ever created by Rockstar was finally announced for next-gen consoles and PC.
This fall, GTA V will arrive on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and
Xbox One to claim its place back from Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs.
GTA V and GTA Online for Next-Gen Consoles and PC Pack “Stunning New Level” of Details
Very soon after the launch of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, rumors and leaks started flowing in suggesting that Rockstar is working on a next-gen version of GTA V that will arrive both on consoles and PC. Now it seems like those town talks weren’t for nothing. Recently at its E3 2014 press conference, confirming the next-gen version of GTA V, Sony revealed a brand new trailer of the game running on the PlayStation 4 console, later Rockstar itself published a trailer, according to which, GTA V will arrive on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this fall.
In a recent announcement post on its newswire, Rockstar revealed some new details addressing the graphical and technical aspects of the next-gen GTA V. According to the developer, there is a “stunning new level” of the stuff in the upcoming GTA V and the game utilizes the full powers of the next-gen consoles and PC. The post reads:
“Grand Theft Auto V will take full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail. Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North’s epic reimagining of Southern California.”
Next-gen GTA V will pack a truckload of details. With many new features, players can expect the biggest, deepest and richest open world video game experience. The in-game GTA V world will also pack new enhancements and features including new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects. All of these features will combine with advanced in-game visuals to deliver the best Grand Theft Auto experience ever.
“Switch between the interconnected lives of Michael, Trevor and Franklin as they embark on a series of heists across Los Santos and Blaine County in the biggest, deepest and richest open world experience yet, with game world enhancements that include new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an array of new details to discover.”
GTA Online for next-gen consoles and PC will pack all the aforementioned features, plus a few of its own. After signing in, players will be able to get a quick access to “all new content and gameplay created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, including an extensive array of new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customizations”. Also, as mentioned at Sony’s E3 show floor, next-gen console version of GTA V will allow players to transfer their in-game progress from PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to the new game.
“The new generation upgrades also extend to Grand Theft Auto Online, an ever-evolving Grand Theft Auto universe. Rise through the criminal ranks by banding together to complete Jobs for cash, purchase properties, vehicles and character upgrades, compete in traditional competitive modes, or create your own content to play and share with the Grand Theft Auto community.
All new content and gameplay created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, including an extensive array of new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customizations will also be available for the PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One and PC with much more to come.
