The game is a cross-gen but according to the developer, Watch Dogs is a game that will truly define the next generation of gaming.

The recommended Watch Dogs PC requirements speak about the density of the game, and it is said that running the game on ultra high settings is not a job for some mid-range PC. However, according to a Ubisoft developer, Watch Dogs PC version can go ultra while running on a med-range GPU.

According to Jonathan Morin, Creative Director behind Watch Dogs, PC gamers will be able run Watch Dogs on a PC equipped with a GTX 670, which is a mid-range graphics card. This confirmation came from Morin’s reply to a fan who asked whether his GTX 670 4GB will be able to run Watch Dogs on ultra settings or not.

Okay, I know that GTX 670 is not completely a mid-range graphics card but if compared to GTX 690 and 760, the card is very slightly below the charts. The officially listed requirements for running Watch Dogs PC version on Ultra say that you will need at least a GTX 780 with a Intel i7 3.5ghz.
