Halo 5: Guardians – Live-Action Image Leaked
Apart from the multiplayer beta, nothing has been shown so far of Halo
5: Guardians. Today an image has been leaked from the live-action
trailer. The image itself,
found via Imgur, shows the Master Chief collapsed on a pile of rubble, with a soldier, probably Spartan Locke standing in front of him.
“War breaks out when colony worlds are unexpectedly
attacked. Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 goes missing, and Spartan
Locke is tasked with hunting down the Master Chief and solving a mystery
that threatens the entire galaxy.”
Can’t help but feel excited for any new information on Halo 5: Guardians
It’s impossible not to get excited with every little tidbit of
information about Halo 5: Guardians. It’s without question the Xbox
One’s most important title, and a sure system seller for Microsoft’s
console. 343 Industries have proven themselves to be more than capable
of delivering an excellent Halo experience, worthy of Bungie’s pedigree,
and Microsoft is surely pulling all the stops to make Halo 5: Guardians
one of the best experiences on the Xbox One console.
With GDC just
around the corner, at the beginning of next month, there is a large
possibility that Microsoft might show the live-action trailer as part of
their DirectX 12 presentation and its implementation on the Xbox One
platform. It would make sense that they would save the first gameplay
footage for E3 later this year. Although with DirectX 12 being demoed at
GDC anything is possible.
Halo 5: Guardians is stated for a Fall 2015 release. We will bring more information as soon as we get it.
